I know they’re probably owned by the U.S. Government, and I know they’re a bank (and we’re not supposed to like them), but man does Ally make some funny, funny commercials!

As somebody who once paid $10/month for the privilege of having a $1,000 overdraft on my business account, I sympathize with the kid and his nasty egg management fee.

Found this gem … an actual commercial soliciting sales of a doll that scares the crap out of any reasonable person.

GMAC Bank renamed itself Ally Bank (presumably in an attempt to shed itself of the “GM” name).  So, they produced some commercials to promote the new brand, and this particular one is simply hilarious.

Check out the facial expression at 0:20.

The YouTube comments are hilarious, too. According to one, the little girl looks like she wants to “cut him”. Somebody pointed out that both the little pony and the real pony have the same accessories and dress.

Of course, then there’s the obvious – blonds always get treated better than brunettes. It’s a hard lesson, young lady, you may as well learn it now.

Warning, this is potentially offensive. We don’t mean “the bad language is offensive to our sensitivities”, as much as “this product and it’s commercial are offensive to our intelligence.”
